All I have to say is:

MY FAVE OF THE TOY STORY MOVIES. HANDS DOWN.

Maybe it's just because I'm going to uni in 2 months (holyshitballs) and the movie hit so many raw chords in me, but, I know that I also loved the new characters, the humour and the message the movie gave: you're never too old to play with toys.

Being Human So, as most of you should know by now, my siblings and I all have learnings disabilities. (I, personally, struggle severely with math and visualization.) George the werewolf in BH is symbolic of a person with a disability, the vampire suffers from addiction, the ghost from abuse... And you know, everyone's hot. So yeah, basically, I love the plot, characters etc. AND I have a very personal connection. And Annie/Mitchell is love.

Disney *sigh* What can I say, really? This is a fundamental part of my childhood and I wasn't even allowed to watch Disney movies (because they were too scary) until I was 10. I adore the music and the fairytale escapism and... yeah!

Harry PotterAgain, a fundamental part of my childhood. I vividly remember getting to see the first movie in theatres as a reward for finishing my book report. I remember finishing the 4th and 6th books in two days flat.( I finished the 7th in 3.) Ron/Hermione was the first fictional couple I ever loved, and Harry Potter will always be a world that is close to my heart.

Jane Austen I can't actually remember how I first came across Jane Austen's stories, but I've been obsessed for years. In grade 8, I read her biography and then did a monologue about how she wrote Pride and Prejudice. Basically, she's the original romcom writer and I never get tired of her stories.

NDP For those who aren't aware, NDP stands for The New Democratic Party of Canada. It's probably the most socialist political party in Canada. My family has supported (sometimes even been part of) the NDP for generations, and I am very passionate about their cause.

Troy This refers to both the city/myth and the movie. I've been obsessed with Greek mythology for about 7 years now, and my favourite story is the Trojan War. (My favourite "character/pairing" is Odysseus/Penelope.) NGL, I do love the movie too, no matter what anyone else thinks.

women's rights Well, I could have cared less about women's rights a few years ago. I've grown up in a family where men and women have been equal for generations. But then I began to notice things like the lack of women in the literature we read in school, and the fear some girls had of men. In grade 11 I learned about women's rights abuses in Afghanistan and everything just took off from there.
